2021 Giornata Gemellaia

“The 2021 Gemellaia is intense, bursting from the glass with a spicy bouquet that mixes plum sauce and black cherries with autumnal spices, dried orange and pine shavings. This is elegant in feel, with textures of pure silk taking on a nearly creamy feel. A polished wave of ripe red and blue fruits swirl across a core of vibrant acidity. The 2021 becomes remarkably pretty and perfumed through the finish, blending violets and roses over a pleasantly tart blackberry tinge, all framed by sweet tannin. The Gemellaia is a blend of 54% Merlot and 46% Sangiovese.”
